Julia Collins Parsons from Solihull, grew up in the record industry working in London and Los Angeles, eventually becoming Artist Relations Manager at CBS Records. Her job meant she worked closely with many of the biggest acts in the world including Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen, Paul Young, Alison Moyet, Simple Minds, U2, Billy Joel and others – going on to produce The BRITS Aftershow Party for 5 years. Her new venture Music Majors Promotions has created The Eight O’Clock Rock Chats to bring to those who want to know more about their favourite artists, the fun backroom insider stories. The unique “An Exclusive Audience With….” events bring an internationally renown music legend to the stage to relate their story, accompanied with photos from personal archives and singing their songs.
It is guaranteed entertainment in a cosy warm and intimate atmosphere. There’s music and stories accompanied by a backdrop of biographic images from people who’ve been there – working or performing in the music industry. The audiences at The Eight O’Clock Rock Chat evenings can participate in a Q&A session at the end of the show.
